HVAC Residential Load Calculation
and Energy Calculation |
| This
class is a hands on computer class at Protrac's office in Ormond Beach,
Florida. |
| The
class demonstrates the use of Elite Software's RHVAC software to prepare
residential load calculations and the State of Florida's Engauge
Software to prepare Energy Point Index residential form that is required
for permitting. |
| Each
participant will have their own computer to use Elite's Software.
The class will go step by step through the procedure necessary for
preparing room by room load calculations that will determine required
air flow and duct size for each room in a residential building.
Theory and practice will be discussed. |
| Once a
load calculation is produced the class will show how to interface the
results with Florida's Engauge software. |
| This
class qualifies for 7 hours of continuing education for the Florida
Construction Industry Licensing Board and includes 1 hour of business
practices. Provider Number 0001106 and Course Number 0009130
"Computerized Residential HVAC Load Calculation". |

Participants will be given the opportunity to "Test Drive" Elite
Software's Drawing Board, RHVAC, and Manual D Duct Size software prior
to purchase. A 10% discount will be given on all Elite Software
purchased by participants. An additional 5% discount will be given
to ACCA members. |
| Cost of
the class is $300.00 per participant and a discount will be given for
multiple participants from the same company. |
